BULTACO "METRALLA" GTS 250, Model #203 (917 orig miles!)
The original owner brought this rare GTS 250 Metralla to us for a complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration. He said that when he saw it up in the dealer's window so long ago, he just HAD to have it! He rode it around for awhile, seized the motor and crashed it. The bike was wheeled back into his barn where it sat until earlier this year when he "found" it again and asked us to "do something" with it...
The pictures below show various steps of the teardown, rebuilding & final restoration process of this original Metralla. This bike is now complete and running. Look for it in the bike show at the "Corsa Moto Classica ~ 99" at Willow Springs International Raceway and at the AMA's "Sonomafest" AHRMA race weekend at Sears Point International Raceway.

I have also broken this section up into several pages to get things to load faster and with less RAM needed so .... ENJOY!

This little 250 would do over 100mph in it's day.

This is a picture of the original sidecovers. We knew that we were going to repaint the tank and sidecovers and these decals were NOT available.... so we had several sets made. (See below)

These are complete and as original, to scale and now available for $65 a set retail (+ Ca Sales tax = 7.25%). The decal set includes: (1) made in spain, (1) 250, (2) gas tank stripes, (2) side cover stripes, (2) GTS, (2) METRALLA, (2) BULTACO decals. All are as original, black with a silver metallic fill & the GTS has 3 colors (black, silver & white). You will also get a detailed plan as to where exactly each decal goes based on my original measurements from this bike.
